Well, I'm in the market for a new rifle and can't decide what the hell I should get. 3 that I'm considering:
Rem 700 xhr in 300 mag
Sako A7 in 300 wsm
Browning X-Bolt in 300 wsm
I've done a fair bit of research on all three and have heard just about all of the pros and cons for each. I currently own a rem 700 in 30-06 and want to add another. Recently, I've been leaning towards the A7. And yes, I know about the plastic trigger guard and mag. and so on, but I've never shot a sako and none of my buddies have one so why not. I was hoping a current or previous A7 owner could lend a hand on this one.
Or, should I say the hell with them all, stick with my 30-06, and get a TC encore? Haha
all thoughts appreciated, thanks

There is ALWAYS room for more guns. The Sako A-7's are decent. They are sort of in between a model 85 and a Tikka. The triggers are nice too. I've had a Sako 75 for years and just love it!
I'm currently down on Remmy so I'd not get one. The X-Bolts are nice, but pretty light weight for the "thumper" calibers. I recently sold mine in 300 WSM.
Another possibility is a TC Icon. The new weathershield models are nice and supposedly, good shooters.
Good luck in your selection.
