Default Are you planning on buying a new gun in 2010.

With alot of post about which gun to buy thought I would do a poll on it.
Will you be buying a new gun this year.
If yes and you know which gun feel free to let us know.
My plan is a dpms 308 rifle. Got a few I am looking at. Like the lrt sass but not sure I want to drop 2k on a gun right now. Plus another bunch for a scope so not sure I will go that way. Might get a rev later in the year.

I am not quite sure what I am gonna get but have narrowed it down to 3 broad categories, an ar-15 of some sort, a 1911 of some sort, or a custom bolt gun which I have no idea about what I want exactly. Should be a pretty tough choice.

Nothing for me next year, I already have 2 rifles and no where good to use em, so im going use any extra cabbage on a new climber, arrows/broadheads & steelshot.

I don't have any little centerfires, so I'd like to get my hands on a 22 cal later next year. Or maybe do a project gun.

Yup! Have a pair of the .300 H&H #1's on order, a OM Blackhawk .44 on lay-way and I know there'll be at least 2 more debuting soon I'll purchase. Also a new 10/22 style receiver too. This isn't counting ones that just make themselves available via the used shelves. Figure 6-8 as a minimum. Cutting down these last couple years.

I'm thinking about giving Remington another chance. I love the looks of the SPS Buckmasters 700 and am thinking of getting one in .270 so I don't have the mess I get using my .300 Win Mag. I've looked at Tikka T3's and Thompson Center's but the 700 just looks right. The new Winchester model 70 Ultimate Shadow is a pretty gun also but costs more I think.

I've got three handguns, one shotgun, and one long rifle in the works. Two of them are for the wife, so she won't be complaining a bit!

I hope to pick up a Win M70 FeatherWgt if i can find it at a good price. i am just amazed at how fast gun prices have went up. Just 3 years ago i bought a M70 shadow syn stock for $325 new at a gun store. That same gun is now double that price.
