Up here in St.Albans Maine we do not see many " Z" scopes, nice choice, we are looking into becoming a dealer for them and the " K" scope they are fairly close in quality. I will not put down your choice in rifles, if you read my last post I explained why I do not care for the A Bolt but I look at things alittle different then the average hunter due to my work. Now sticking up for Browning a, in the price range of guns you were liiking at the Abolt is one of the best looking. By the way, and I am not picking on Browning now, but do not just let the floor plate fly forward, especially with a full mag. As with most guns now the floor plate is aluminum and this practice can cause it to break off in years to come. Last time I got one for a customer, the little jem was over $70 if I remember.
Good luck on your hunt, just to show that I am not totally anti Browning, if you want a accurate reliably semi auto you will have to do some looking and spend alot more if you want to beat the B.A.R.

Hmmmmmm........we' re close to being neighbors there Judson, always some decent bucks come from the St. Albans area for sure.Like the scope choice as I am a bit partial to the Conquests myself Well Turkey Slayer you got a nice set-up and it should be more than enough for your hunting trip. All the eye relief on that Zeiss will be nice when your firing 180' s with that A-Bolt.Hey Judson, you got a retail shop?Looking to buy a Savage 12BVSS soon and might give you a shot.

I WOULD RECOMMEND A 7MM OR 270 BOTH ARE GOOD LONG RANGE CARTRIDGES AND DONT HAVE A BIG RECOIL LIKE A 300.
