243 Win and 7mm Mag

Not really sure what the question is...a .243 will work fine on deer size game at any distance the shooter feels comfortable with...

X2. Unless your hunting for elk or larger game. The .243 will kill deer just as dead, but without all of the punishment from the recoil that the 7 mag will give you. 8.8# for the .243 versus 19.2# for the 7mm mag.
