100 yards is long, but not impossible. My Ruger 10/22 loves the Aguila Super max bullets. Faster then most, but also lighter. The only thing I have found with them is they smell different and are louder then most. Loud may be an issue for your daughter. I use them on small animals including Racooons out 85 yards. With the speed and flat trajectory, I have not had to adjust the scope.
If you really want your daughter to have fun (and yourself), tracers on .22lr ammo are always a hit.

100 yards is possible, but difficult. For me the accuracy and trajectory really starts dropping off after 80 yards or so. The longest shot I've made was right around 80 yards on a groundhog- head shot. I've shot AT groundhogs at 100+ yards, but only misses so far.
