I have been getting into open carry here lately. I was just wondering how many of you guys are into it? Is it legal where you live? It's legal in Colorado every where but Denver city limits. Any thoughts??

I live in NY. so thats a big N-O. There is no open carry, and concealed carry requires a lengthy application process, and highly depends on what county you live in.

I moved to ky when i was 18 and found out it was open carry. Then i found out in ky you must be 21 to carry. Which it was 18 in indiana. But indiana is a a no open carry. When i move back to ky i will be carrying everywhere,

It's legal here and you only have to be 18 to do it. I don't see a problem with anyone doing it although I know sometimes people do get hassled for it. I kind of wish more people would do it as maybe then it would become more accepted in today's society.

I lived in Lake Havasu for six months and never saw a single person carrying. I didn't get out of the city very much though, and when I was, I was way out in the wilderness.

Open carry is not legal in FL... must be concealed.

IF you have a pistol permit in the state of New York (not NYC!!) you can carry openly while shooting or hunting. But to carry concealed, you need a permit that specifically allows concealed carry.You musthave a pistol permit to even own a handgun here. And they are not quick & easy to get!

Open carry is legal in North Dakota.
