Default handgun transfer to a pawn shop

Hey can you use a pawn shop to do a transfer on a handgun you buy online. There is a local pawn shop that sells guns so i thought maybe i could use them for my local ffl for the transfer

Depends, pick up the phone and ask them what type of FFL they have and ask them how much to handle the transfer. Only he can tell ya.

The pawn shops FFL will cover it , it just depends if they would want to do it some will and some wont .

Sure you could... if the pawn shop will do it.
It is getting harder to find FFL's that will transfer a gun that was bought on the internet. When we had our shop in Florida ATF would discourage the transfer of such guns.
Also, the pawn shop may want to charge you a fee for the transfer and you have to pay for a background check.

telll me about it guys local guy wont. Gander mountain wants 75 and the other shop in the next town wants 15% of the cost of the new gun

Thats crazy. The gun shops around here do a pistol for 45 dollars, and my gunsmith does a rifle/shotgun for 25 dollars fee.

Same here, she's an 83 year old lady that loves guns and knows everything. But she does $20 over cost too.
