Accurate and deadly has been my experience on deer sized game. The only problem I encounter was shooter error, pulling a .277/130BT flush into the facing shoulder of a buck at close range which limited the penetration. The bullet busted the onside shoulder but did not exit. The wound found vitals and was fatal, knowing I screwed up the shotI never rushed the recovery and found the buck dead as doornail not that far from the hit site. I have taken deer through the opposite shoulder andthrough both shoulders at longer ranges where I had no problem achieving 2 holes with the NBT.
