Default Painted Another Stock Tonight

My buddy brought his Winchester over tonight for an overhaul. I think it turned out great and the stainless really sets it off.

Before

After

I am getting the hang of this.

How did you get into this?

My deer rifle is about the same color are you're friends was. I want to get a new stock for my gun but I never thought about getting it painted.

How did you get into this?

My deer rifle is about the same color are you're friends was. I want to get a new stock for my gun but I never thought about getting it painted.
I decided to give it a try and liked the results.

Here are a couple I have done. My squirrel gun I took coyote hunting.

That's pretty cool. I'll have to do some research and give it a try sometime.

ACLackey good to see you getting your feet wet, nothing like giving a rifle a face lift, good job.

Krylon is a cheap way to paint a firearm though it's not as durable as Ceracoat and Duracoat. It's easy to apply an inexpensive to boot. A good matte clear coat it a must to help it last longer. Here is a custom Remington I have beenrattle canningdifferent schemes on for years, sorta a guinea pig if you will.

Krylon Special...

Here's one done in Duracoat...
