The CZ trigger is excellent...Don't let the fact that it can be used as a set trigger scare you off...No need to use the set feature if you don't want to...The trigger can be easily adjusted for a nice crisp, single stage pull..

I have a CZ 550 in 9.3 x 62... I do like the single set trigger for shooting off the bench, but I use the trigger like a regular single stage trigger while hunting..

Czs are a good value for the $$...They are well made an tend to be very accurate..My 9.3 groups like a varmint rifle with Barnes 250 grain TSX and full hunting loads..

I understand how a set trigger works, I just do not care for them. Does anyone make a good replacement trigger for the CZ?
Just wondering, but why don't you like them? I've never used one...

What about something like a Sako 85 Safari (.375 H&H). It's sort of a CRF, and definitely has a decent trigger. Seems like I recently read an article by Craig Boddington that Sako has also recently developed a new round (sort of like a .370... 9.3 X 66 or similar) that's 30-06 size with ballistics equaling a .375 H&H. I'm thinking it was in Guns and Ammo mag. Anyway, food for thought.

Kimber's "Talkeetna" I think essentially is a win model 70 action...in synthetic stainless......not crazy about the stock color in person....but pretty sweet set up.

Otherwise.... CZ and Ruger make a decent rifle. btw when I say ruger...I mean a ruger mk II magnum in .375H&H not .375Ruger. So comparing that rifle, and CZ's fancy grade, and kimbers talkeetna they're all in the same price range give/take.

Kimber has a Caprivi too in wood...but I think its another grand more...

I too agree about the M70 in .375 H&H if they made one in the right configuration, or heck just one at all I'd be very very tempted to pick it up.

have you thought about a Remington model 700 XCR? You can even get a 375 RUM.
