I few years ago a bought my first gun (muzzle loader) with a thumbhole stock. I wasn' t sure how I was going to like it hunting, but it sure felt good when I was holding it the first few times. Since then I have looked into getting thumbhole stocks for some of my other rifles, and will at some point. I love them

That " thumbhole" /" pistol grip" stock is what I liked so much about the T/C Encore.
I can not remember a firearm that shouldered and handled better for me than this rifle. It just " feels" right.
And what " bigbulls" said,... this style of grip/stock really heps to soak up recoil![:-]
