Perfect choice for hunting in North America! Any high-quality scope of 2-7, 2.5-8 or 3-9x will make a fine choice. About the only thing you would need more rifle for is grizzly.
Bullets in the 139-140gr range are perfect for deer, antelope and caribou, while 150-160gr bullets are great for elk and moose out to 200 yards, or so.
In fact, if your rifle likes a premium bullet such as the Nosler Partition in the 150gr weight, I' d use it for everything!
Enjoy, and let us know how she shoots.

Got a Remingtom 700 BDl in 7mm 08 with a 3x9x50 Vari-x II. Shoot 140 NBT and love it. Have piled the deer up with it as well as a couple of respectful sized hogs. Enjoy.
