i finally took it out and shot it today after2 weeks of bitter weather,of all the story's i have read the last 5 years trying to come across one of these,i was VERY surprised at what i got.the wood was much better then i thought,i heard story about the barrels are not regulated,i shot 2 quick shots to get the feel of it,then took a free standing 2 shots at 70 yds, then 2 more with a box of Remington 405gr sp.the last 4 were in a 2x3 inch box thats what i would consider very good even for doubles that cost 5 to 10 times as much.it has a jack screw adjustment for changing left or right slightly.but i will not use it.im not sure what the problem was with them, but what ever it was it must be fixed.im very happy with this rifle, glad i did not go by some of the exposure this rifle had the last few years.i now have a double rifle to ad to collection ,and i did not have to sell my truck LOL.obviously its not as nice as a holland and holland or a merkel, but it also was under $1000

When I clicked on your post I was really wanting to see a picture of the rifle. I have been waiting to read your post on your new double rifle. Did I mention a picture of the rifle?? Please post a picture of the rifle?? The target looks great. Tom.

It looks like all you need is a little sight adjustment to the right and you're all set. I had one in my hands a couple months ago and almost got it. But I didn't buy it because of the low pressure loads it could only shoot. They are nice rifles and balance well in the hands. My cousin has both the 45-70 and the 30-06. He likes them.

Wow, that gun has some phenomenal wood in it! That is one very good looking gun. I really like it. I didnt realize those guns had double triggers. That is also really appealing in a double gun. Great gun!

I'm not suprised you got good results. I've had a Baikal O/U for two years and despite what I've heard it keeps up just fine with the bereta and citoris and red labels that belong to people I shoot with. I'm actually looking at their semi auto. Was the double rifle special order? Didn't know they made em. I'm considering getting a 45/70 in afew years and would like more info. Nice rifle man.
