Shulion how do you like and rate the CDL-SF? Is the new trigger improved and how much did you pay for yours

I don't remember exactly how I paid for it because I traided another gun at the time that I bought it. The gun shoulders and points better than any other rifle I own. It just fits me. As far as the trigger goes, it is an improvement over the Ruger that I traded it for. I have both the CDL SF in 270 WSMand the XCR which is in 300 WSM. I'm thinking about getting a new XCR stock to put on my CDL just to keep from banging up the nice wood stock that came on it.

I don't know current retail prices but you're NOT going to need worry about recoil-especially after laden with scope, mounts, rings, sling, ammo.

I have both and both are Remington 700. The 700 is a fine rifle and both of mine are extremely accurate. I handload for both rounds so that does cut down the cost for me. As far as recoil goes if you can handle the 06 then you will have no problem with the 7mag. Chosing between the two is a difficult choice, I like both of them really well. Both are capable of taking deer size game and larger out to 400 yards with no problem. Which ever round you decide you will have made a good choice. Hey be like me just buy both of them!!!!! id like to have both greg,but unfortunately i can just get 1.Depending on price ,Id like to stay under a 1000.00
