HAs anyone ever heard of this rifle or have any idea what its worth?? The only marking it has is COLT (57). It has Mauser action and is in 30-06??? Thanks

I just looked it up. Colt Coltsman bolt action rifle, FN Mauser action, side safety, engraved floorplate, 5 shot box magazine, 24" barrel, rampfront sight, fancy walnut stock, Monte Carlo comb, cheeckpiece, pistol grip. $395-595 depending on whether it is a custom or deluxe model. made 1957-1961

The colt 57 was made by the jefferson mfg.co. of New Haven Ct. There were approx. 5000 of them made in 1957. It has a Fabrique Nationale action and was made in 243 win and 30-06 .
The coltsman was made for Colt by Kodiak Arms 1958 to 1966
