I have a Winchester Model 12 shotgun and a 97 tube with all parts. I'm wondering if its alright to use the 97 magazine spring in the Winchester Model 12? Also could any other parts such as the magazine locking spring could be used over on the 12?

I've been trying to build this gun for forever and parts have been hard to come by. I'm still looking for a magazine follower (I know the 97 follower won't work on the 12) but have had zero luck. Numerich's has been sold out for at least the last month on this part. If anyone knows anywhere else I'd be able to get it that'd be great.
