I just bought a 25-06 barrell for my Pro Hunter a couple of days ago and I bought a box of Hornady 117 grain BTSP Interlock for it today and the gun seems to shoot them pretty good. Does anyone have any info on how they perform on deer? Is there a certain grain and brand that would be better than the Hornady?

While I haven't personally used the Interlock, I imagine it'd perform just as well as the Cor-Lock. 120gr is about the standard .257 cal deer bullet, so the 117gr should do perfectly. If you do your part to put that bullet into the boiler room, the deer's going down. So if your rifle likes them, go with them.

While being on the Ballistic Tip band wagon for a number of years,I have went back to the Hornady Interlock projectiles.I have always liked the performance of these.Plus they retain their weight better than a BT.My 25-06 Sako likes them better also.
