RE: Question for One-shot
Well first thing the Sightron is not as pretty or graceful looking as the Leupold. They all seem to have a low luster finish. The tube is one piece, the reticle is supported on all four sides at all times, the reticle supports are 90 degres to thhe reticle instead of angled, etc. The opitcs are amazingly clear and crisp. So far the Sightron (2-8x42) I have on a Savage 10ML-II muzzleloader has held up very well, under some hard kicking loads.
The price is about half that of a Leupold and the warrenty is about as good as you can get. Simply take it back to either were you bought it from or send it Sightron (located about 1.5-2 hours away in Youngsville, NC) and they hand you or send you a brand new one, no questions asked. So far I am not sorry that I spent, almost $200 on mine.
