.270 New England Arms
Hope someone can help me out. I have the above, and am expierencing a problem. This thing drives tacks. When it ejects a live round, it will throw it across the room. When breaking open the breech to eject a spent round, 99% of the time it hangs up, and I must drop a rod down the barrel to " assist ". The gun is older/well used.
I am in an area w/many gun stores, but incredibly few smiths. Any tips on how I myself can fix this. I have already tried different loads/manufacturers. My round of choice is Win.130gr.
Any help will be appreciated.

Ive heard of people polishing the bore to fix that problem. Dont know anything more, never done it myself. But I believe they use jb bore paste on a spent round and attatch it to a drill and spin it in the bore with the paste. I dont know how you attatch it to the drill though, maybe a small bolt and nut or something.
