Q? ABOUT REM 1100
HEY GUYS ,
MY FRIEND HAS A REM 11OO 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN , IT HAS THE LITTLE BARRELL ON IT, HE TOLD ME THE BARRELL IS SMOOTH BORE THE WHOLE LENGHT OF THE BARRELL BUT AT THE END IT HAS A RIFFLED CHOKE .
IS THIS POSSIBLE ? IF NOT WHAT THE HECK IS HE GOT GOING ON WITH THIS GUN?

Doc,
They make rifled choke tubes so that you can use the sabot slugs in smoothbore shotguns. Then, when you're not shooting slugs, just swap out to one of your regular shot chokes.
Cheaper than buying a speciallized, fully rifled barrel.
