Default Stoeger M2000 help

I had my M2000 stored in the box it came in (barrel disassembled from the receiver and stock). I just picked it up and 2 small parts fell out from God know's where. One is a spring about 3/8" long and the other is about the size of a BB but shaped like a round nosed bullet. I looked through the manual and cannot find where they belong. I also looked online for a schematic but no luck. Anyone have a clue? This gun has BARELY been used....

That is really strange. You sure you want to tackle this? I'd call Stoeger and ask them. They'd likely fix it for you for just the shipping.

Just to let you know that is a great shotgun. Mine has been through hell and back and is still kicking just fine.
