My last few purchased were Talley's and they have been great. I'd like to try some Conetrols though as their look is awesome. I've also used Warne's with no issues. For the money now I'd say Talleys are the best.

I have always used Leupold in the past but my last two have been a set of Warn'e on a Tikka and Talley Lightweights on a Remington 700. Have been really pleased thus far.

Well...I like 3...We own a couple of Rugers...You can tighten every screw without removing the scope, I really like that...

On 700s, I've used the Leupold Dual Dovetails in the past and they have heald up well...

Last fall, I installed the DeadNutz on a firends 700, seemed like a good setup as well...

LIghtweight rifle type mounts would be Talley Lightweights or Dednutz in fact I like the Lightweights a lot more then their steel rings

Conetrolfor anything else.

If you own a Sako(s) then look no further then Optilocks

I have done bought my last pair of Talley Steel Rings and will not buy into their BS anymore . I have had all their models except the new SS models and not impressed one iota. They are pretty and allbut lack a lot of things one being windage adjustments. They have an their unnerving ability to mark up even well anodized and strong scope tubes when a tube slips and yes they can slip when shooting magnums. Unless the scope mounting holes are in perfect alighnment there is no logical reason to consider them. They need to be re-designed IMHO.

I always used Redfield's. I have used Millett a couple times and have been very satisfied with them. Most of my rifles have the Ruger rings and I am really impressed with those. Of course if you don't have a Ruger that won't help you.
