Is anyone using the new lever action Marlin 308MX? I've read some good things about it and the 308 Marlin Express that is is chambered for. I'm looking to get a rifle for hogs, that could double for deer if need be, and the lever action is appealing to me for follow up shots on the hogs. Anyone have any experience with this newer gun and cartridge?

I haven't seen the new gun though I have several Marlin rifles and they are all really good. It should be a good cartridge but it might be hard finding shells for it.

Go over to the "Leverguns" forum. There are a lot of Marlin experts over there. And I have read several reports on that cartridge over there. Tom.
