I own one of each, it goes back to the original reply, which ever one fits you better or possibly which one can you get for the best deal.
3 position safety-who cares? I used to hate them but have gotten used to them.
Quality?-About the same in either one.
Bolt Lock?-Who would ever use that in the first place?
I have owned more Rem than Win, and they have been more accurate. However, that is not necessarily true for individual gun vs. individual gun.

I walked into my local gunshop just two days ago to purchase a Model 70 Featherweight in .308. I was really psyched about getting this rifle and my wife told me to get it for my birthday. So there I was in the shop with the rifle in front of me. I picked it up, worked the bolt, opened the floorplate, examined the fit/finish, and walked out without it. What a disappointment.

Of if you could get a Savage 10FP-LE2 in .308 for thew same price......would you???
