I have to put my plug in for browning a-bolt/x-bolt. IMO it's the overall best design for a modern hunting rifle.

I would have to say this comes down to price. If you would like to save some money I would say Weatherby Vanguard Sub-Moa or a Tikka T3.
But if price is not in it Sako 85 or the new Winchester M70

I like at least a 24" barrel for the WSM.

I'm happy with my Ruger M77 MKII all weather. Nice compact package that doesn't weigh a ton.

Id like to get the new model 70, any idea when the stainless composite will come out??

savage 14 american classic is a fine looking and even better shooting rifle in this caliber you won't be dissapointed

I have a Browning Medallion .270 WSM.....one beautiful and accurate shooting Rifle!

Winchester Model 70 featherweight. Mine shoots like a dream with factory 130Gr BT's. Either way I dont think you'll be dissapointed with any of the mentioned guns here. Shoulder as many of them as you can (not always possible i know) then make your dicision.
