.243 ??

I just picked up a Remington BDL. I've never owned a .243. I don't reload and I was wondering what factory ammo was shooting good out of yours. What grain would you reccommend for coyotes and antelope? Thanks!

I have a Remington 700 ADL in 243 that shoots everything thru it equally well. I personally shoot 95gr Combined Technology BTs for deer, and 60gr Sierra HPs for coyotes. Not sure if the 60gr HPs are available in a factory load or not. The 75gr Hornady VMaxs and HPs shoot very well thru that gun as well.

Try the Federal Premium 85gr HPBT Sierra GameKing...I use it for my bean field stands here in NC where shots run on the longer side, it's a wicked little bullet...
Sight in 3 inches high at 100 and you will be about 2-3 inches low at 300...

I have 2 243's both shoot a multitude of deer sized loads (85 grain +) well.. I have shot this gun for over 20 years and the best round on Deer sized game and smaller is the 85 Grain BTHP..
