ORIGINAL: bobfm10350 So after figuring out that the 220 swift was surperior in preformance
Saying that I am a big 220 Swift fan, mostly because in my area there are WAY more 22-250s

haha, I think in every area there are way more .22-250s
The .220 is kinda a cool round to own......seems like its still around though, not dead......not sure if it will ever die, and maybe make a come back, who knows maybe in 50-100yrs theyll be talking about the .22-250 being around?
I said before weatherby should adopt the .220, they load the .22-250 currently, but I mean by loading their own ammo......load it and make it available.....weatherby ammo, .220 swift, then it may be on more shelves across the nation.....
But really do you ever run out of ammo and are in a jam to find/locate it? I think most guys bring enough if not too much......

Replace the stock? seems to me that would be why you bought that ruger?
I've never been a ruger fan though, I just think replace the stock? why? at that point why not just get a custom or that remington? or some other .220....? ie spend extra money to replace a stock? why not spend another bit and get a custom......or jsut something extra nice.
Just my $.02 though.
