Which Gun 25-06,243 or the 6mm(244)
Which Gun do you prefer 25-06, 243 or the 6mm(244). For all around hunting does not matter what it is used for just what do you prefer.please no comparing of " oranges and apples" . I prefer a 25-06. Please. [8D]

Well, you would have to tell us more about what you want to use them for. You' re comparing apples and oranges here. I have all three and prefer the .25-06 and .308 equally, but for very different reasons. The .243 isn' t even a blip on the radar to the other two.

I own all three also and it' s hard too say. i like my 308 hunting the woods and 25-06 in my pasture areas. my 243 is used by my son but it shoots super.
As a matter of fact the 243 took four deer this year by him and all were one shot kills.
I love them all!

As said before this is comparing apples to oranges. All three are good choices for deer. To me the best of the three for an all around caliber would be the .308.
