Agreed, the factory swifts are loaded down, so if you are only going to use factory ammo, get a .22-250, it'll always be available, and still very fast.
But if you handload, the .22-250 can't do what the .220 can.
Also if you wanted to load the either heavy....the .220 would shoot heavy bullets much better IMO. Probably a bigger advantage the larger you go.....
I think you need 40gr in a .22-250 to get to 4000fps, but 50gr in a .220 will do 4000fps without much work.
The Swift is one of those rounds you wish were more successful, or maybe you don't if you like it being your pet....but loaded hotter....and more popular, there would be little reason to own a .22-250.
