Anyone used this rifle?

I wasn't very impressed with the one I shot. It was OK, but way too much money for what you get.IMHO
If I was going to dump a couple grand on a battle rifle, I would definitely pick something else. I was really impressed with the FN 2000. Looks clumsy as all get out, but it handles really well. I would also consider a nice M4gery of some sort and deck it out with an ACOG or other high end optic for the same money. JMHO of course.

I thought about the SL-8 because there is a straight-pull bolt action available here in Australia called the R8. I was considering either the R8 or Steyr Scout becuase i'd really like a unique weapon that looks awesome and I figured for that money, accuracy would be very good.
