Hello Burntmuch, I have just what you are looking for. It's a Remington 700 Classic in 35 Whelen (1988) that has been a safe queen for the last several years. Very good to excellent condition. If you are interested, send me a pm and we can talk.

Congratulations! That 1988 version, imho, is the best factory production Whelen ever put out. I also have one & love it!
If you're into handloads try this one:
225 grs Sierra Gamekings, 55.0 grs of IMR-4064, OAL 3.250''.
I use this load on deer & bear. It'llcome out of the 22 inch barrell singing a pretty mean tune & packs a whallop!

RE: Rem 700 35 whelen
Ive looked at the Game kings. Right now Im using 180 hornady ssp & 200grn rem corlocts. Cause thats what I had on hand. I m thinking about the nosler accubonds. Cant afford to do an order right now. I am using 4064. Im using52 grains I think ( Id have to look at my notes) I know the 180 hornadys are a bit light. Gonna use those for target to get used to the gun
