If your looking for going prices on them www.gunbroker.com or www.gunsamerica.com are 2 places to look. Grices Wholesale(one of remingtons largest dealers)occasionally has specials on them www.gricewholesale.com
REmington has jacked up their retail prices so much in the last 2 years that I can't even predict dealer selling price anymore.

function ResizeTextArea(){
// return;
var TextArea = document.getElementById("body1");
var sX = document.body.clientWidth;
var sY = document.body.clientHeight;
var sppp = 350;
if (TextArea){
TextArea.style.width = (sX-200>=450)? (sX-200) +'px' : '450px';
if (sY=300)? '270px': (sY-sppp

Grice's Gun Shop in Clearfield, PA is having a sale this weekend. March 28, 29, 30. I don't work there or have any influence , but this sale is advertising 35 Whelen Model 700 CDL's at $ 549.95. Seems like about as good as it gets.... If you want to hear more of the description in the flyer, PM or e-mail me...... Hurry... I'm going up Fri. or Sat. for things......

35 Whelen is an excellent choice from deer to moose. Between my wife &me, we've owned or still own many of the 35 Whelens that have been made by the major manufacturers & even one old Eddystone that was rechambered in 35 Whelen.

Here's my advice fwiw, if you can find the Remington 700 (1988 version) I'd pay $500-600. In my opinion, that's the one you want first. My second choice would be the newer CDL version that just came out, that can go from $550-$700. I'd go to gunbroker.... you can get one for about $550 if you wait. If you are looking to go cheaper, I'd get the 7600 pump model. Maybe $450 or so. A tougher version to find is the Ruger 77 version... that will be more expensive too.

If you can grab the 1988 for about $550, I'd get it!!!!

I ve been looking in the used gun racks. Im not seeing any 35 whelens. I would like the older one. I dont know if I like the straight comb on the new one.

How much are they selling it for up in CT?

You don't see many used Whelens on the gun racks down here in VA. I saw a used '88 in West Virginia a few years back.... It was pretty used up & they wantedsomething just over $300 for it.

How much are you looking to spend burntmuch?
