I have 3 Savage rifles. 2 110s and a 116. All are very accurate, reliable and all were a good value. Is that $300 for a new one? If it is don' t even think twice, grab it.

A good price for new and fair price for used. They are accurate and dependable, tend to be no-nonsense guns that make good hunting rifles.Lots of aftermarket goodies available from Sharp Shooters Supply in Ohio.I have five and they all will shoot an inch or better box stock with just a trigger adjustment.Triggers adjust with hand tools in about 15 minutes(info available on several web sites to walk you through it). Some people stiffen the stocks if synthetic with some epoxy or bedding compound in forend channels. The floating button rifled barrels are one of the reasons for there great accuracy potential.Don' t think you can go wrong with one.Good Hunting,

Buy it, muddin! I got a 110 for a gift about 20 years ago in ' 06 caliber. I' ve owned a lot of expensive and pretty rifles since then, and most of them are gone. But I still have the Savage!

I bought one in .243 for my daughter with the scope you mention for about 400 bucks for the combo (gun, scope and sling). Nice gun and it shoots some real nice groups.

Surprisingly accurate and not all that bad looking for a great hunting rifle and what what a great price!
