Those old Winchester clips are getting hard to find. They used to be common, but not anymore. They tend to get lost over the years. If you go to gunshows, ask around. Some people collect and sell clips and such. News mags such as Gun Digest and others carry columns for items like this. Flea markets sometimes turn up this type of stuff, but do a little looking and asking. Gun stores may know of someone local that could help you out. If you notice at gun shows, most of the guns that take clips don't have them in them. They are under the table or put away somewhere else. They seem to have a habit of walking away at public shows. And, you may be surprised to find out that the $40 is not too bad after all, when all is said and done.
