haha Swamp, I knew someone would say the .264 win mag, I think you just like throwing a wrench in my polls. I kinda meant mag as magnum big game, and im sure youll say itll kill an elephant, but i wanted to keep the mags to 7mm+
LOL not messing with you .I always liked the 140 grain Hornady btsp.Been so long since I loaded for it I will have to look up what powder and how much.But I remember I had them smoking.I don't get the chance for anything but White tail or 'yotes.But I would not be afraid to hunt anything around but the big bears.
What's your fav .264 mag load? how big of game do you like it on? would you take it over another mag on elk/moose?

I knew the 7mm was popular but didn't know it was that popular. Course now there are the 7mm STW, RUM, is the 7mm RUM almost dead though? does everyone just get a 7mm STW if they want a big cased 7mm? Kinda like you either get a 7mm Rem Mag or 7mm STW?

300 WBY. Just because I have one (wife gave it to me as a Christmas present). Sako L691....really accurate rifle. Would probably be more so if I wasn't shooting it.
