I recently dug an old Glenfield MOD 25 .22 cal rifle out of an attic at a relatives house. Besides needing to be cleaned up it is in good shape. Looking at the barrel it says it takes a .22 S-L-L-R. Thats is excatly what is written on the barrel. What round do i put into it?

It will shoot 22 shorts, 22 longs and 22 longrifles. It shoots all three.

You could shoot shorts long and long rifle.

This brings up a question. How many of you see the longs anymore. I usually only find the shorts and long rifle. Just wandering........

You might find longs as a target round but it would be rare.
