could you send me some links of some cheap marlin or savage .22 magnums? i cant find any

I haven't looked lately for any.

I just emailed my buddies dad with what I wanted and thats what he shot me for a price.

I'll do some looking for ya, and see what I can find.

I have owned savages in both .22 and 17HMR and both were really accurate. And now they have the accutrigger so that's even better. My .22 was well under 200 dollars for the plain jane model and my 17 was right around 200 for the heavy barral with standard wood stock.
The biggest difference between the savage and marlins right now is the trigger. Before the accutriger I would have said take your pick with whichever felt better in your hands. Now the savage has a better trigger so that would be my pick.

I never used the clip on mine, I always shot it single shot to be honest. Never shot out of vehicle either since it isn't legal where I live.

the one thing i dont like about the savages is the 5 round clip, i wish they had a clip that could hold 7

but the accutrigger looks very nice
is a .17hmr or .22 magnum better for squirrels? if i get a .22 magnum or .17hmr i want to be able to hunt coyotes, coons, fox, squirrel, rabbit, and other game

The marlin bolt actions are the best .22 magnum on the market for the dollar. They've been making them for a long time and I've never seen 1 of them that wouldn't shoot good.
