ORIGINAL: Pickerel

I saw one at the store near my house and it looks like a pretty interesting piece. Thinking about buying it... it's in .308 and has a Weaver fixed-power scope on top. Anyone think that is worth the $450 they are asking? Looks like it's in good shape.
It certainly IS!!

My dad has one in .308 with the basket weave/oak leaf pattern and a Weaver 4x fixed power scope with side swing base (so you can use the iron sights). Beautiful gun and fun to shoot. His uncle has one identical to his (his dad and uncle bought them at the same time to go on a deer hunt in Missouri).
