If I only kept one, no question it would be my Marlin 1895M in .450. It has enough power for virtually anything on the planet.

One long gun? It would be my Mossberg 12ga. I' d prefer the flexibility of being able to hunt birds, small, and large game.

If I could have a shotgun and a rifle, I' d be holding onto my Winchester Model 70 in .30-06. A quality rifle, in a caliber suited for North American game.
