Kinda depends upon the specifics surrounding your hunting (style, ranges typically found, area, cover / plant materials present, shot proficiency, etc.). As a general statement, I'd sight in at 100 yards.

I have a leupold shotgun model scope, think its a vx-ii 2-7, parrallax for it is 75yds, actually haven't sighted it in yet, but plan to get it dead on at 75yds, probably, slugs can go 200yds, though I think 150yds is a pretty far shot, and most of what id see will be 30-100yds. so 75 just point and shoot I figure, then maybe worry about bullet drop at 150....
If you asking how far should yo ube prepared to shoot the slug, well again, can kill/do 200yds, though 150 is a pretty good shot, though if youre sighting it in dead on, anywhere from 50-100yds sounds about righ....also at 50yds the bullet is probably still rising, then falling back around 100 or 125yds. so if youre dead on at 50 youll be deadon on at about 100 and high at 75, low at 25, 150, 200,
