Default New Varmint Rifle? CZ, Rem, .22-250 ?

I want a .22-250 Rem. I'm considering the CZ 550 Varmint Kevlar, also considering the Remington VS SF II.

Tell me out of those 2 which you would choose, and don't say price of one of the other, I want the better quality rifle between the two. Also if you have a different suggestion to consider, please say so.

I looked at the M700 and the CZ550 side-by-side, both in .22-250. Yes, a difference in price, but I liked the CZ's trigger better, though the palm swell on the stock was a bit more than I liked. I'm normally a die-hard M700 fan, but I picked the CZ nonetheless.

It does feel bulkier compared to my BDLs, bolt isn't quite as slick, but it's every bit the shooter the M700s are - which I'd expect from a HB varminter. I'm happy with it, even if it isn't a Remington.

Of those two... the CZ. Its a hell of a well built gun... and that trigger is sweet.

Shameless plug here... Weatherby does a Vanguard Varmint SUB-MOA guarenteed. Can't beat that with a stick!

Does tack driver mean that you can really drive tacks with these...Or are you
saying that it is capable of one hole accuracy for 3 to 5 shots at xamount of
yards?

ya weatherby isn't one I'm really considering, and if it were I'd be more apt to buy a Mark V than the vanguard. I'm liking that CZ too, also has dovetails built into the receiver! so no ring bases needed. Thought that was kinda cool. also like the black on black, kinda stealthy. Surprised a bit though, CZ would be cheaper than Rem. and have heard great things about the REM Mod 700 action, super accurate. I know many customs are built on them. Have they gone downhill? Considering an HS but can't really see justifying the money on this caliber, since many othess build great rifles and these calibers are known to be super accurate.
