Your Perfect Rifle Arsenol?
#21
Which calibers would you have if you could have them all? What would be your ideal arsenol?

For a minimum:
.22lr
.300 H&H
.45-70
.300
Just about covers anything and everything on the planet as far as "calibers" go.

I pretty much have everything that I would ever NEED? But now want... thats a diffrent story. I do want in the near future to own a 300 SAUM Why you ask? because everyone has a '06. I don't like what everyone else has.I also would like to trick out a 10-22 to give me something to play with and shoot up a ton of ammo for not other reason but to listen to powder burn. I also would like to own a .17 Fireball and a 221 fireball that would complete my collection of modern day off the shelf varmint rifles.
Thats about it.

A lot of those price figures are low low low..... that Browning Watercooled is worth at least $60K.... and the M2.... way low!
Hell he even has a Chauchat..... imagine paying $9,000 for that POS! Even if it is a fairly relivant part of history... filed in the how not to do it section.

Dang he has a 1905 Colt USMC too.... thats one exceptionally rare gun. I have personally seen one that a very good friend who is a Lt. Col in the Marines purchased at a police auction. Some scum bag had cut the trigger guard off of it with a dremel tool so he could fire it faster. Had he known that there were only 926 ever made and that they are amoung (but not the) rarest and most valuable Colt revolvers.... Man oh Man...
Some of their prices on the 1911s are about on the money though... I don't know if they are in chronological order or not... but the bunch on there were all WWI models. I've never seen such a fine collection.. this guy's place rivals the national firearms museaum.

No Walker Colt, No Buntlines, No SSAs even (must not have been his thing)... seems like he was more of a WWI-Vietnam collector... focusing on WWII. Amazing collection.
