How do you all carry your ammo in the woods , on stalks or just plain walking to your blind.
I get the hee-bee-jeebees putting cartridges in my pockets, scared they will go off. I know the likelyhood is almost impossible.Is anyone else scared to put ammo in there pockets ?

I use the standard ammo pouch.. Generally speaking I never need more than the 5 I have in my magazine and we are out 'stalking' or more like hiking up and down ridges the whole day.. But I do carry 10 rounds as back up in one of these pouches in my pack.

I carry 5 in the magazine and 10 in a leather bullet pouch on my side...

I have a leather "pouch" that carries a full box for rifle hunts on my belt .
When shotgunning they are just loose in my lower coat pocket or a BDU shirt pocket.

4 in the gun and five in a leather pouch onthe belt. I had an Uncle up at deer camp that wore a full bandoleerof 3006's. That always drew a few stares and some whispers.

I bring 10 handloads with me and keep them in those red, plastic belt carriers that come with Federal factory ammo. I keep them in my pocket or in the zipper compartment of my muff.

I guess I've been lucky. I just pour some in my jacket pocket. Haven't been blown up yet.

Usually 5 in the rifle and 10 in a leather cartridge holder on my belt. Never needed them but nice to know they were there if I did. If I use a rifle with magazine, I carry a spare mag in my pocket. If I am using my Contender I carry 4 in a cartridge holder on my wrist.

I use a butt cuff like in the picture above, rarely need them, but it's better have them and not need them....
