and to make it more interesting- at the range your on a solid rest. shooting in a stand or off hand could make a 2 inch difference. if you shoot it at the range in summer heat it may hit way different come fall- winter hunting season.something about pressures being increased when its hotter out. also if you changed ammo or started into a new box of the same ammo that may be the reason. its getting fun now isint it:D

Get in your hybrid and drive to France, cause here on this site we shoot, kill, and eat animals and with very dangerous guns and bows. Your views are much more in line with the Frenchies

I had a low dollar Tasco scope that acted a lot like you've described. Found out that if I need to move 6 clicks right, I needed to go 8 clicks right then 2 clicks left to get the backlash out of the gears. Then give the scope a slap to make sure everything was settled. Not the best routine, but it got me by until I could afford better equipment.

Take your gun to a gunsmith and have them check your crown of your barrel if thats good then also have them check to see if the pillar's of your stock are embedded right. And still if thats good make sure u have good mounts on your gun also. But to add to that if your shooting a heavy caliber rifle you need a good scope that can hold up to the recoil, but if thats not the case check your bases, or like others said your scope might need to be sent in to the manufacturer.
