Too bad they don't have a O/U, would love one of those from Ithaca.

Got an older M37 my grandfather had - a 20gauge. Great gun. For what I can still get vry ncie condition older models for I can't see myslef spending the prices they want for new production ones. Been eyeing a 16 gauge 37 locally.

In the 1970's you could buy them for 150 bucks ...I used to borrow a 16 gauge and it was a nice shotgun.

At one time you could buy them around here for 125.00. Ithaca Gun used to be about a 40 min. drive fron here and every sport shop in the area carried them. Used to have a 37 in 16 ga. I wish I still owned it.

pick up mine for $125. a m37fl 12gadeerslayer combo but the bird brl was cut to 24" but still great for partrige!!
the deerslayer barrel is a smooth bore 26" and put 3 fed. truball 1oz slugs 2"right and 2"high, all touching like a clover at 50yrds!! 2"groop at 100yrds 6"below center!
and a few months age i picked up a new 24" barrel with turkey choke & fiber optics sites for $80!!
its smooth and fast!!deffinetly my favorite 12ga!!and goin to my #2 son when he can handle the kick!!
