Default Rust proof finishes

I know firearms can be parkerized and tefloned and I have even seen the website for Gunkote and I am sure someone has asked this question before but can someone please tell me or post a link on places to get a rust proof finish on my gun (other than gander mountain, I don't want a camo finish)? Thanks.

The Robar Companies Inc. offers several different type of finishes, just about any kind of finish you can imagine or want, they got it. They also do extremely high quality work. I have a few guns that have been finished by them over the years and they still look good. I highly recommend them.

I don't know really who to recommend, I'm just gonna make a small comment...there are no rust proof finishes. I'd just get it reblued if it were me, but since you want something new, I'd go parkerized (since it's a shotgun).

Screw the 10 ring, keep them in the zero!!!

Pyral,A few years ago I opened my gun cabinet and discovered that my 16 gauge Stevens 311 had a small amount of rust on it. I decided to have it teflon coated. I took the stock off and took it to a local a gunsmith to be done. He had the gun way to long but it did turn out pretty good. It now has a black finish instead of blue but it has not had any rust on it. I refinished the wood while this was being done. I have not recomended this gunsmith to anyone for anything because of the time he took and the lame excuses he offered doing this job. Oh buy the way it cost me $100.00 to have this done.
