If you' ve got the equipment, I don' t think there' s anything much better than Fullerplast. I sprayed my longbow with Minwax Spar Urethane and it' s okay, but I' ve got scratches in it and areas on the edges of the working portion of the limbs where the finish is cracked up and rough. I' m going to sand it down and have a friend put Fullerplast on it for me. It' s a lot tougher than polyurethane.

Thanks Arthur........ I think I found something else I am going to try - its expensive stuff......... but will be an awesome finish. It's used in the marine business - an epoxy... Im researching it though and will let ya know..... I am almost ready to spray it up... I just need to finish sanding the limbs......

Raymond, lots of custom bowyers use Fullerplast and they wouldn't use it if there was too much a chance of it cracking. They can't be spending their time doing refinishing jobs on their work instead of using that time to make money by building bows.
