Mines a remington pump 30-06 with 150 core lokt bullets.

Sako Hunter in 308. Topped with a Leupold Vari-XII 2x7 and stoked with 165 grain Sierra gamekings from Federal.

That degends on what part of the country you are from. I am from Minnesota and it seems that more deer are taken with a .30-30 than any other rifle. I think that we can all agree that the best rifle is the one that will kill a deer. regaurdless of caliber or model

I have a hard time choosing between my .308 and my 7MM Rem. mag! Both are Winchester M70's. I feel just as good with either!

My favorite is the one that is best suited for the area that I hunt and for me the shooter. That is my Marlin 1895SS 45-70 with 300 grain JHP. The only adjustment I have ever had to make was in the weight and type of round going up to my 530 grain Garret Cartridges Hammerhead rounds.

I spend a week or so hunting in the Addison, Harrington, and Columbia Falls area. I use my 35 Rem as it is just about perfect for that area.

I hunt woodland Whitetails,so my choice is the 30/30 Winchester.In my case,a model'94.

a New England 270 grain 130 Core Lokt bullet of a Reminton 700 Sendero SF 300 Win Mag w/ 180 grain Core Lokt bullet

I disagree with a 30-30 because it powers out after 100 yards and doesnt really expand. So I use a model 70 winchester in .30-06 with 165 grain home made ammo and nothing has ever ran 100 yards.
