I got a Tikka T3 Lite Stainless for $608. Mine is chamberd in 300 WSM but that have many other choices to suit your needs. I ahd mine out for 3 days of bear season in the snow and rain and never cleaned it just to see how it dose. The barrel was packed with snow that i ahd to clean out about every hour. I never had a problem with it. I would go and shoot a round or two just to make sure its still working good and it never failed me. Over 3 days in Freezing weather with snow to rain on the 3rd day it never got a spot of rust or failed to fire one time. I would shoot 6-8 rouds a day and they all hit where they were saposed to. I love this rifle.

My favorite action of all time is browning a-bolt. Tang safety,60 degree bolt throw, concealed detachable mag,mag has X spring instead of other brands W spring,3 locking lugs, factory glass bedded, free floated barrel, bolt handle shaped optimal for easy operation, excellent out of box accuracy, great sako style extractor, palm swell, available BOSS in eitherconventional recoilor muzzlebrake, adjustable trigger (mine has triggers from 15 oz to 1.5#)--what's NOT to love?
