Since I love .284s I would almost be willing to cut a finger off to get it but christmas is coming so it's other's turns right now.

I like BLR's but the new ones I can't get attached to for some reason. The old steel receiver models I like better.

I phoned them. They are proud of it as thier price is $899
The last 2 steel receiver BLR 81's that my local GM had were under $400 and both looked like new, one was in 223 (it's in my safe now $329 ) the otherwas $349 not sure of the caliber

It has a scope on it not sure what brand and the price they have there is 849. But it is a Gander mountain and they have variable pricing. The prices you paid for the BLR was extremely low even for a Gander mountain. I haven't seen a BLR go for less then 500 used in quite a long time. Last one I purchased was a new lightning with pistol grip in 358 for 595. Being that this is in a rare chambering I would imagine it would go for more. I would like to get one in 257 roberts

I would LOVE one in 222. It probably is a regional thing... my local GM shows me the book and that is the asking price. They will pay 70% of that price on a trade in.
Here we have little use for centerfires as we are a shotgun only state for deer.

Prices in that store change from day to day. I have never seen anything like it.
